My relationship with golf began more than 40 years ago. Throughout the years, the game has been there for me — in good times and in the not-so-good times. It has been a constant wherever I lived, worked and played.
Golf was there for me during my husband Jim’s courageous battle with melanoma and continues to be, as I navigate my grieving process since his passing.
Whenever I play golf, I feel close to Jim. It’s sad to reminisce the times gone by and the future that will never be. At the same time, I believe really feeling and expressing the emotions of loss and grief is the only way to move forward – just like golf, one shot at a time.
